Adare Manor launches a Valentine’s Day afternoon tea experience and it sounds incredible

Adare Manor

Afternoon tea in Adare Manor, don’t mind if I do.

We know our readers adore a good afternoon tea and so when we heard about this Valentine’s Day-themed extravaganza, we just had to share the love.

From today, February 10 until Sunday, February 16, The Gallery at Adare Manor will host a very special Valentine’s Afternoon Tea experience.

And wait for this, on the day of love itself, there will be an extra special sitting of Twilight Valentine’s Afternoon Tea at 5.30 pm.

This is to allow “guests to watch the sunset as they sip on champagne to the tune of a live jazz band” and could we be any more obsessed?

The answer is no – all WhatsApp groups are currently LIT as we try to find out who is free to indulge in the Friday evening soirée of dreams.

The Gallery features stained-glass windows dedicated by the Earl of Dunraven to “the love and honour of Caroline Wyndham, his countess” and to coincide with February 14, Executive Pastry Chef Xavier Torne has designed a menu of savoury bites and sweet treats to “celebrate the joy and sparkle of love”.

A live jazz quartet, a sunset, chilled champagne and delicacies including fresh oysters, it sounds like an idyllic way to spend February 14.

Valentines Afternoon Tea in The Gallery at Adare Manor is available from €55 per person while the Twilight Valentines Afternoon Tea is available from €85 per person, we imagine it will be a pretty popular experience.

And don’t worry if you can’t make it on Friday, the good news is the experience is available until Sunday – it really would be a gorgeous way to spend a weekend.

If you’d like to book it to celebrate Valentines’s/Galentine’s/a ‘just because’ treat, then you’ll want to act fast before it sells out completely. For more information or to book call +353 (0)61 605200 or visit www.adaremanor.com.
