Ben and Jerry’s have announced a new non-dairy flavour and it sounds absolutely divine

Keeley Ryan

Just in time for the warm weather, too.

Ben & Jerry’s have just released a new non-dairy flavour and it sounds absolutely incredible.

The ice cream – Coconutterly Caramel’d –  is the “perfect balance of coconut and caramel flavour” and “swirled with oodles of vegan caramel and cookies, with a tasty coconut twist.”

It is GMO certified, vegan, fairtrade ice cream, made with almond milk. It is also the first – and only – coconut flavour in the Ben & Jerry’s non-dairy range.

Eric Fredette, Head Flavour Guru at Ben & Jerry’s said:

“’Our Non-Dairy range has taken off so we just had to bring a coconut flavour out to please our coconut loving vegan fans.

“We’re so delighted to bring the flavour to Ireland, where veganism is being so wholeheartedly embraced.”

OK, we’re definitely intrigued.

Coconutterly Caramel’d is the latest addition to the already amazing non-dairy range, joining the other flavours that Ben & Jerry’s launched in 2017.

The range already includes:

  • Peanut Butter & Cookies, a vanilla non-dairy ice cream with chocolatey sandwich cookies and crunchy peanut butter swirls
  • Chocolate Fudge Brownie, a  chocolate non-dairy ice cream with fudge brownies
  • Chunky Monkey, a Ben & Jerry’s classic with banana non-dairy ice cream with chocolatey chunks & walnuts.

Time to get your spoons ready; 500ml tubs of Coconutterly Caramel’d are on sale now for €7.45.
