So, it seems like we’re in for a difficult week, lads.
With Storm Emma taking over the country, we’re in for a harsh few days.
It’s anticipated that transport services around the country will come to a halt, and there will be many delays… so you know, there might be a lot of waiting around (in the cold) and cancellations over the upcoming week.
So, to deal with all the doom and gloom, why not treat yourself to a boozy hot chocolate when you arrive home from work?
This hot chocolate and Baileys mix is the perfect thing to give you a little pick-me-up and will certainly heat you up from the inside out.
So, here’s a simple little recipe for making a boozy Baileys hot chocolate:
You will need:
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup Baileys
- whipped cream
- chocolate sauce for serving (if you fancy it)
Method:
- Heat milk in a saucepan and bring it to a simmer.
- Stir in sugar and cocoa powder until there are no lumps. Turn off heat.
- Add in Baileys and stir.
- Fill up cup and top with whipped cream.
- Slather on some chocolate sauce (go on, you know you want it)
- And ENJOY!
