Burger King Is Set To Sell Beer At Its Waterloo Station Branch

This is a big change.

Burger King is going to sell beer.

The move will set the fast food chain aside from its counterparts as the first to introduce alcohol alongside burgers, chips and milkshakes.

At the moment, the only alcoholic beverage on the menu is beer and the first Burger King to sell it will be the Waterloo Station branch.

According to The Mirror, there are strict measures including that the beer must be consumed on the premises and that it must not be any stronger than 5 percent.

Lambeth Council approved the measure on the conditions that staff would receive extra training, CCTV would improve and management supervision would increase.

It’s likely that other Burger King chains will follow suit with a spokesperson commenting that the brand is “catching up with the world”.

“It’s very successful everywhere else so we’re just catching up with the rest of the world really. It’ll probably be an American beer to fall in line with the brand”.
