You can now have DINNER at Dublin’s dog-friendly café

Katie Mythen-Lynch

Well this is just adorable.

Dublin’s dog-friendly restaurant Pupp is about to open their doors for dinner four nights a week, making it the ideal spot for a date night with doggies in tow.

Starting on Thursday, May 18, Pupp on Clanbrassil Street will open from 5.30pm-9.30pm as well as their usual opening hours for brunch, with a stonking new menu of burgers, superfood salads and other goodies.

The Hangry Bird Burger (succulent chicken breast and thick chorizo topped with garlic mayo, tomato, onion and lettuce on a brioche bun) and the Zen Burger (a vegan special topped with lettuce, onion, tomato, alfalfa sprouts, fresh beetroot and tahini mayo) sound particularly good.

And what better way to really judge a Tinder date than by finding out how they react when surrounded by a crowd of (well behaved canine companions).

It’s BYOB as well as bring your own dog, so pack a bottle of wine to sip while your furry friend (the animal kind, not your bearded date) enjoys the new and improved doggy menu, washed down with a doggy beer!

Reservations aren’t required, but if you’d like to guarantee a spot, email [email protected].
