You can now get a job as a chicken nugget connoisseur

Really..?

Jade Hayden

Yes, really.

Everybody likes chicken nuggets.

They’re tasty, they’re delicious, they’re crunchy, they’re sometimes not entirely made up of the combined ground meat and bones of the animal.

An all-around decent product, to be honest.

When you were younger, you might have wished that you could eat chicken nuggets all day long.

You might have even hoped that when you grow up, you could have a job where you ate chicken nuggets all day long.

The dream.

How lucky for us then that Chicken Nugget Connoisseur is an actual real-life job now that you can actually apply for.

(Just not in Ireland, but sure look, we’re willing to move, it’s worth it.)

UK discount store B&M are currently searching the perfect chicken nugget connoisseur to join their team… and they have a fair few requirements that you need to meet before applying.

Their ad reads:

“Experience can include, but is not limited to:

  • Getting the 20 share box of nuggets fromMcDonalds and keeping them all for yourself

  • Being the first in the office kitchen whenever someone says there’s cake

  • That time you tripped and fell at a buffet and saved the plate before yourself

  • Going to an event or party because there is free food

  • You value the importance of a fish finger sandwich in life

  • You can conduct a power point presentation on the reasoning behind curly fries being nicer than chips”

Pretty detailed experienced needed.

The job description itself includes tasting a variety of frozen foods to ensure that the quality is decent and not totally awful, we suppose.

The good news doesn’t stop there though.

Instead of receiving actual payment, the lucky candidate will get monthly £25 B&M vouchers so they can continue to give their feedback on products even after the job is done.

They must be inundated with applicants, lads.
