Certain batches of Ben & Jerry’s ice-cream have been recalled

Have you eaten Ben & Jerry's lately?!

Cathy Donohue

Nooooooooo, not Ben and Jerry’s.

If you’re a fan of this delicious ice-cream (I mean in fairness, who isn’t), then the below will be of interest.

Spotted on JOE.ie, four batches of Ben and Jerry’s Cookie Dough ice cream have been recalled this week.

A post on The Food Safety Authority Ireland website explains that the ice-cream has been recalled because they may contain “small pieces of metal”.

The batches affected are L62110L011, L62111L011, L62112L011 and L62113L011 so if you’ve bought a tub of Cookie Dough recently, you might want to have a look at the tub.

A notice has advised that anyone who has purchased a tub pertaining to any of the above codes NOT to eat it.
