The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has released a statement.

A range of chocolate chip cookies have been recalled in Ireland over fears they may be “unsafe” for consumers with allergies.

The Jacobsens Bakery Limited tins which come in various Disney inspired designs contain milk.

However, milk is not listed on the ingredient label, sparking concerns for those with milk allergies who may not be aware that the product contains it.

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland released the following statement:

“This may make the mislabelled product unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of milk or its constituents.”
