A coffee company wants to pay you and a friend €4,500 to live in a castle for a week

Olivia Hayes

Well, this sounds delightful.

If you love nothing more than having a cup of coffee in the morning or sipping on a hot cuppa at lunchtime to keep you going (we feel you), then this might be the most ideal competition for you.

Coffee brand Gevalia has launched a competition for its fans to find the ultimate Coffee Queen. The winner will travel to a castle in Scotland with one of their mates and basically just drink bottomless cups of coffee for a week.

The castle, Carlowrie Castle, looks extremely luxurious and swish. Included in the hotel stay is six nights’ accommodations, a $5,000 “salary” (around €4,500), $2,000 (€1,800) in spending money, a spa experience for two, access to a butler and chef, and a big swag bag.

However, if the trip doesn’t take your fancy, you can opt to take home a $25,000 (€22,500) check, plus a $5,000 (€4,500) salary.

To be honest, we’d love both options – however, the sad news is that the competition is only open to residents of the US.

If you have a mate or family living over there though, all they have to do to enter is write a 250-character blurb about why they’re the ultimate Coffee Queen.
