When it comes to chocolatey treats, there’s surely nothing more divisive than the humble Cadbury’s Creme Egg.

Creme Eggs are kind of the Marmite of the easter egg world – you either love them or hate them and it’s not that pleasant to watch someone else eat one.

Nonetheless, some folks are just plain obsessed with this seasonal treat.

Other themed chocolate eggs come in and out of vogue (Reese’s, we’re looking at you) but these bad boys are a constant.

We all know someone who eats their weight in Creme Eggs every year and stockpiles more to keep themselves going until Easter rolls around again.

Now, diehard fans will be pleased to hear that they can enjoy the Creme Egg in cupcake form – and they look fairly unreal.

The cakes are made of chocolate sponge filled with the signature white and yellow fondant icing and topped with white buttercream icing, chocolate pieces and yellow goo.

Packs of two are on sale in Iceland in the UK right now for £2.

No word on whether or not Iceland stores here in Ireland will be selling them but if you really want some, why not make your own?
