Make a date at D-8TE this summer for some fantastic food and incredible cocktails.

If you’re looking to make some delicious plans this summer, we’ve got just the thing.

Running from June to August, Roe & Co Distillery are welcoming six local Dublin restaurants into their specially-created cocktail village for D-8TE, a gastronomical food experience like no other.

Located at the former Guinness Power Station, these local businesses are showcasing food and flavours from all over the globe at the Roe & Co Distillery.

Each restaurant will be serving up some sensational dishes and each menu has been carefully paired with a mix of Roe & Co whiskey cocktails – the perfect accompaniment!

And while D-8TE is already in full swing, it’s not too late for you to come along and sample some of Dublin’s best cuisine over the coming months.

You can book your place at Bahay and Nightmarket here, and keep an eye on Roe & Co’s socials so you don’t miss your chance to book a spot on Matsu Ramen and Lil Portie’s weekends.

With that in mind, here are the restaurants featuring in the D-8TE line-up in July and August…

Bahay

Bahay is bringing some Fillipino flavours into the mix on July 8 to 11 and July 15 to 18. Head chef Richie Castillo will be sharing some of the traditional Fillipino dishes he grew up with, paired with authentic Irish ingredients. Richie will be serving Inihaw na Manok at D-8TE, his bold and zingy signature dish.

D-8TE

Nightmarket

Ranelagh’s Nightmarket will be creating a delicious Thai menu from July 22 to 25 and July 29 to August 1. Head chef Jutarat Suwankeeree will be serving some rustic and spicy options, using as many Irish ingredients as possible. Jutarat’s hero dish Miang Kham will be on the menu at D-8TE, and it’s certainly not one to be missed!

Matsu Ramen

Matsu Ramen will be bringing the taste of Japan to the event for two weekends this summer – August 5 to 8 and August 12 to August 15. If you’re a ramen or sushi fan, this one’s not be missed as chef Ken Komatsu is one of few Japanese chefs in Ireland with experience in Washoku, the traditional way of cooking healthy and savoury Japanese food. Alongside flavoursome Ramen dishes, Ken will be serving some delicious Sushi Moriawase.

Lil Portie

Closing out the summer is Lil Portie on August 19 to 22 and August 26 to 29. Lil Portie’s chef Nico Reynolds will prepare a Caribbean menu with a Latin twist. Expect mouth-watering flavours, delicious spices and plenty of locally-sourced Irish ingredients too. At D-8TE, Nico will be preparing his Cuban Mojo Pork Patacones with crispy black pudding.
