Summer’s here, lads.

If you’ve ever been sat in a park and thought ‘I am hungry now’ then you are not alone.

It’s a difficult state to be in, sitting in an open space, enjoying the sun, maybe with a cool can of fizzy pop in your hand, only to realise that hunger pangs are upon you and they cannot be stopped.

Usually in these kinds of situations, one might decide to stand up, leave the park and go get some food.

Maybe, you might even get the food to-go and bring it back to the park where you were hanging out.

It’s a whole thing.

Now, however, you won’t have to go very far if you’re sitting in a park and feeling a bit hungry because Deliveroo has started delivering takeaway food to parks.

Yep. Real life parks out and about in the sunshine… who’d’ve thought it?

This new service will be available for customers in all Deliveroo cities, so Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway and Belfast.

Stunning.

All you need to do is go on the Deliveroo app when you’re in a park, order yourself some food, drop your pin at the nearest park entrance, and go there to collect food 30 minutes afterwards.

Simple.

Joe Groves from Deliveroo said:

“Deliveroo is determined to make this summer as relaxing and enjoyable for customers as possible – that’s why we’re delivering to parks all across Ireland.

“So now you don’t have to sacrifice your spot in the sun to enjoy some of the best summer food and drink.”

Ideal situation.
