Deliveroo to launch in 3 more counties

Sarah McKenna Barry

The food delivery service has expanded since its arrival in Ireland in 2015.

For those among us who are partial to the odd takeaway, Deliveroo have announced that they will be launching their food delivery service in three more counties.

The new counties are Louth, Kildare and Meath.

As it stands, Deliveroo currently operates in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Waterford and Wicklow.

Going forward, food delivery services will be available in Drogheda, Dundalk, Naas, Newbridge and Navan.

Speaking ahead of the expansion, the company’s growth manager for Ireland, Paddy Quinlan said: “Deliveroo’s expansion across the east is illustrative of its commitment to the Irish market.”

Mr Quinlan continued: “Since 2015, Deliveroo has become embedded in Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway and has continued to grow with new service available in Waterford and Wicklow. And now we’re looking forward to adding Louth, Meath and Kildare to that list.”

He added: “In addition to creating valuable opportunities for riders, our sustained growth in Ireland will be a boost to local restaurants which will be able to reach new customers and grow their businesses through food delivery.”
