This Dublin restaurant is donating Monday’s income to a homeless charity

Wings with a purpose.

Denise Curtin

What a thoughtful act this Christmas.

The home of our favourite chicken wings in the capital, Wishbone is doing a very generous deed next Monday, December 18. The restaurant which is located on Montague Street, D2 has decided to offer all of their earnings that day to a homeless charity.

Speaking on this idea, Wishbone owner, James Stimpson said: “Having been open for over a year and walked from pearse station to Wishbone day and night, I’ve seen first hand the sad reality that men, women and children are suffering at the hands of living on the street…”

Therefore, the restaurant has decided that everyone who visits their store on Monday, will too be making a donation towards fighting homelessness on our streets this winter.

Having asked the public to choose which charity they would like to donate the money to, they received a phenomenal response and chose Inner City Helping Homelessness.

Wishbone will be open from 12:00pm – 11:00pm. We look forward to some wings with a purpose this Monday.
