A massive congrats to all involved.

FIRE Steakhouse & Bar has been nominated for the Best Luxury Steakhouse in the world award.

The prestigious nod comes as the World Luxury Restaurant Awards (oh, fancy) announce their shortlist of divine restaurants for 2020.

To be in with a chance of winning, restaurants must “inspire excellence” and in fairness, FIRE does pretty much do that.

“FIRE Steakhouse & Bar is an award-winning restaurant located in the heart of Dublin City,” reads the website.

“Originally built in 1864 as the Lord Mayor of Dublin’s supper room FIRE features incredible vaulted ceilings, stained glass windows and a beautiful terrace overlooking the Lord Mayor’s Garden.

“Today it is the most historical and impressive dining room in Dublin and this year FIRE is celebrating its 15th birthday. As part of the celebrations, FIRE underwent a €1.1 million refurbishment offering a new look FIRE and an extended menu.

“FIRE is firmly committed to supporting sustainable local Irish produce and only serves the finest selection of award-winning meats and produce that Ireland has to offer.”

But it’s not just steak that the chefs over at FIRE offer. For the past decade and a half, they’ve also been serving up delicious cocktails, beautiful fish dishes, and delectable veggie options too.

But hey, it’s not the Luxury Veggie Options award, it’s the Luxury Steakhouse award.

Best of luck to all involved.
