Everyone had a bit of a laugh on Twitter after KFC ran out of chicken
It's a bit of an odd one.
You go to KFC specifically for chicken. It's basically the only reason (that and its delish gravy), so it's safe to say people were a little stunned when they went to order... only to find out there was no chicken left.
Most of the food chain's most popular meals had to be taken from the menu in stores all around Ireland and the UK and some even had to be shut down, including in Liffey Valley and Jervis Shopping Centre.
The fast food restaurant has blamed its new delivery service for the shortage, and people on Twitter couldn't help but take the mick out of it:
Disaster. Took the Grandkids out to dinner at KFC only to see that it's shut down. Some chicken shortage. Took them to McDonald's but it's not the same. Crying in the bathroom. Can't show weakness in front of them. #KFCCrisis

I suspect FOWL PLAY has been the main reason no chicken is available at KFC #KFCCrisis
