Gingerbread hummus exists in this world if you feel like ruining your life

Jade Hayden

Gross.

Alright, we’ll bite.

We didn’t think that there was a possibility in this world for hummus to be disgusting.

It is tasty. It is filling. It comes in an array of flavours to ensure that you don’t get bored and the variety keeps on coming.

It’s basically a great food item – and yet it has been entirely ruined by this here option that has combined the delicious chickpea food stuff with a very festive spice: gingerbread.

Yeah, honestly.

The abomination (because that’s what it is, yes) was shared online by Twitter user Amy MacKinnon.

Including brown sugar, ginger spice, and “everything nice”, the hummus is gluten free, only 35 calories per serving, and totally awful*.

*Maybe. We can neither confirm nor deny the above.

Although, there is thankfully a saving grace, in that the hummus is – as per the packaging – only available for a limited time.

Shame.

Alternatively, there are plenty of products – food related or otherwise – that you can purchase yourself this Christmas in order to get you in that sweet, sweet festive spirit.

Like a cinnamon candle, an eggnog latte, or some sort of Christmas cake.

All acceptable, all totally boring.

Enjoy.
