A ‘golden powder’ latte is hitting Starbucks and it sounds delish

We like the sound of this

This sounds interesting.

A new latte is hitting the Starbucks menu, and we have to say, we’re intrigued.

Never mind the PSLs that take up most of our time during the autumn months, because the turmeric latte is here to make our tummies happy.

Turmeric is known for its health benefits and is often used as an anti-inflammatory agent, as well as a treatment for menstrual problems, toothaches, bruises, chest pain, flatulence, and colic.

According to the Starbucks website, the new beverage “is made by steaming milk with aromatic turmeric powder and spices and poured over espresso – bringing a new twist to the much-loved latte.

“The delicious golden coloured milk is one of the latest trends on the high street and makes beautiful Instagram-able latte art.”

Unfortunately, the new coffee is only available across London at the moment (sob), but hopefully if it’s popular over there, it’ll come over to our side of the sea pretty soon.

Who doesn’t love a good coffee Insta pic?
