Random but look, if there’s a market for it…
Gordon’s Gin has unveiled two new products catered to lovers of a G&T. These G&T’s, however, are for people who just want the taste of a gin and tonic without the alcohol. Well, a little bit of alcohol, we’re taking 0.5 percent.
Yep, so they’re not “alcohol-free” yet they’re not the average percentage of the stereotypical G&T, they are like somewhere in-between. Confusing, we know.
According to the company, the new ULTRA low-alcohol beverage just contains a “hint” of gin plus tonic in either grapefruit or lime flavour which according to the bottle, is also just a “hint”? So many hints, we’re totally confused as to what is actually filling these bottles?
Flavour one
Flavour two
Speaking on the new product, the head of Gordon’s Annalisa Tedeschi spoke on the launch saying:
“We are extremely proud to reveal this new innovation. We know that customers are crying out for more alternatives to their alcoholic drinks of choice, making [this] a great option.”
The beverage which is currently available in ASDA and heading towards us retails for £1.49 (€1.70) a bottle.
Hmmm, we’re unsure as to how well this will do, but hey, if you’re interested in something a little stronger and also pre-mixed, M&S are now selling their own G&T cans, yep, you can read all about it here.
