Lad’s genius way of keeping McDonald’s warm until he gets home

Unreal.

Jade Hayden

Have you ever availed of the McDonald’s drive-thru?

You probably have, and if you haven’t, what are you playing at parking outside and running in to collect your takeaway food?

There are so many easier ways to live your life, you know.

The one thing that isn’t the best about McDonald’s takeaways though is the fact that they, like all food, tend to go cold before you can get them home.

Or, at the very least, they lose some amount of their heat and you’re left with lukewarm, slightly mushy chips instead of the crisp, hot lads you purchased 10 minutes ago.

Tragic.

Well, one lad seems to have found the ultimate way to keep his McDonald’s warm while on the way home and we’re genuinely a bit distraught that we didn’t think of this before.

Though at the same time we probably don’t have the means to make this happen either.

The lad, who goes by the name of Eric, took to Twitter to share his keeping-your-food-warm hack and it’s probably safe to say that it’s blown up a small bit.

It involves a car, under seat heating, and some very clever thinking ahead.

In case you couldn’t figure out exactly what Eric has done here, we’ll break it down for you.

He got his McDonald’s.

He put it on his passenger seat.

He cranked up the under seat heating full blast.

He drove on home and enjoy a delicious, still warm McDonald’s, probably.

Eric’s tweet has received over 17,000 retweets, so it’s safe to say that a lot of other people are kicking themselves for not thinking of this sooner.

… Or for not having enough money to purchase a Mazda CX-5 from 2017.

Either or.
