Now this sounds DELISH.

Sunbathing by the canal and feeling a lil’ peckish?

Well then, you’re going to love Deliveroo’s new service. To celebrate the current glorious weather and to feed hungry workers on their break, Deliveroo are now offering to deliver you your food via kayak along Dublin’s Grand Canal.

Yep, after launching an option to have food delivered to public parks, Deliveroo are now taking to the water. Operation kayak was launched yesterday with the support of the Canoe Centre. Deliveroo deployed a kayak, containing an experienced canoe rider, down the canal along Richmond Row to make sure Deliveroo customers received their favourite dishes, on time and water free.

The first meal to be delivered down the canal yesterday evening was of course, the beloved burrito from Boojum.

Speaking on this brand new service, a spokesperson for Deliveroo said:

“We’re delighted that our customers are enjoying great food and getting out in the good weather, while it lasts!

“We know that taking in as many sunshine hours as possible is very important. Our extreme kayak delivery along the Canal ensures that those stuck in the office all day need waste no time in catching up on rays after work.”

We cannot wait to try out this new service. You can check out the incredible variety of restaurants that can be delivered to you on Deliveroo here.

You never know, they could be rollin’ up to you sooner then you think. Y-U-M.
