Jägermeister cold brew coffee is now a thing and mornings will never be the same again

Jade Hayden

We all have varying experiences of Jäger.

Some are good. Some are bad.

Some are plagued with hazy memories of desperately necking a bottle of the stuff outside the club, safe in the knowledge that the bouncer can’t take it off you if it’s already inside your stomach.

But despite all of the actively questionable memories associated with the drink, Jägermeister has become a bit of a staple when it comes to ruining yourself on Leaving Cert results night in a stretch limo paid for by your parents.

And, eh, other scenarios too but that’s the crucial one that comes to mind.

And so, it’s hardly surprising then that Jägermeister have only gone and decided to create a coffee version of their delicious alcoholic drink.

Just what we always needed – why, haven’t we been crying out for this for years, after all?

Jägermeister Cold Brew Coffee is a 33 percent tasty treat combining two of somebody‘s favourite drinks into one alcohol-based shot, designed to give drinkers that bit of a jolt they so desperately crave when in the throes of a night out.

The drink, which should be available by some time next year, combines Jägermeister’s 56 herbs and fruits with some Arabica coffee and cacao.

Each shot will include about 10 percent of the caffeine included in a regular cup of coffee.

Delicious and it’ll keep you up. Class.

Jägermeister’s Jack Carson told Insider that the company decided to create the drink for their customers who wanted to experience new and “disruptive” things.

“Combining Jägermeister with coffee has been a fan favorite for years, so we wanted to perfect that experience for our consumers and create a product where those flavours were perfectly balanced,” he said.

“Jägermeister Cold Brew Coffee fits seamlessly into our portfolio, while speaking to our audience who want to live boldly and experience disruptive new things.”

We’ll give it a go, like.
