Just Eat release a list of new restaurants available for delivery across Ireland

Just Eat have released a list of new restaurants available for delivery across Ireland.

The list includes a number of local and independent businesses, some who have closed their restaurant’s doors for customers to sit-in but still want to provide food safely to their regular customers through delivery.

The news comes after Just Eat – who are one of the delivery services to introduce contract-free delivery – recently announced a €1 million package of measures to help distressed local eateries get online and secure a revenue stream.

Some of the new restaurants that have joined the platform in recent weeks include Boojum (Kevin St, Mespil Rd and Smithfield in Dublin, Galway, Limerick and Cork), Elephant & Castle (Beacon, Monkstown, Rathmines and Temple Bar), Gourmet Food Parlour (Santry and Dun Laoghaire), Xian (Tuam & Claregalway), Burger Hut (Cork), and TriBeCa in Ranelagh offering delivery for the first time to its customers.

Other new additions in Galway include Bubble Bee, Abrakebabra, and Shake Dog; while customers in Dublin will be able to also now order from Fabbrica Di Pizza.

“We are working tirelessly to get as many Irish restaurants online as we can so that they can continue to serve their customers through delivery – encouraging them to avoid offering a collection option where space is limited,” Amanda Roche-Kelly, MD Just Eat said.

“We’ve recruited additional resources to support the demand and abolished sign up fees for new restaurants until April 19. We also continue to work with our existing network of local and independent restaurant partners to help them be as efficient as they can in navigating these trying times.

“The introduction of contact-free payment and delivery means that our customers can still order their favourite takeaway from their favourite local eatery and maintain some sense of normality and routine in these difficult times for us all.”

Just Eat have said they are continuing to work closely with its restaurant partners to ensure that all restaurants and their delivery teams are fully aware of the guidelines on hygiene and social isolation and that they are adhering to them.
