McDonald’s fans, rejoice.

JustEat have announced they are going to partnering nationwide with McDonald’s in the UK and Ireland.

Yes, that means you’re going to have a new way to get McDelivery right to your door. The company will be McDonald’s second exclusive delivery partner for McDelivery.

The partnership will be implemented during 2020. McDelivery has proved extremely popular with customers in the UK and Ireland, since it launched in 2017 and 2018 respectively.

McDonald's

“We are delighted to announce that we have agreed to partner in the UK and Ireland with McDonald’s,” Peter Duffy, Just Eat’s Interim CEO, said. “This partnership, along with our recently announced relationship with Greggs, will require significant investment but will accelerate our growth ambitions and enhance our market position by offering our customers the widest choice available.”

The news comes after McDonald’s revealed the launch of Big Mac Special Sauce dipping pots in Ireland next month.

On February 12 2020, McDonald’s customers in Ireland will be able to buy Big Mac Special Sauce dipping pots for the first time EVER.

A limited run of the pots will go on sale and is expected to quickly sell-out with restaurant staff prepped for bulk orders and big queues.

The 50ml pots will be available 24 hours a day and will have a seven day shelf life.

However, you better be quick if you want to nab some for yourself: when they’re gone, they’re gone – and at just 50 cents a pot, we reckon these are going to fly.
