Big companies are in no way strangers to publicity stunts, but this has to be one of the craziest yet.
We all have a friend who lives and dies for fried chicken, but we’re not sure that even they would want this concoction.
Yesterday KFC announced that they were launching a limited edition suncreen which smells just like fried chicken. Don’t worry though it will protect you from the sun as it is also SPF 30.
The description on the website reads:
“The sun gives us life. But if we’re not careful it also gives us painful sunburns. That’s why we made KFC’s Extra Crispy™ Sunscreen! Its SPF helps protect your skin while the real fried chicken scent leaves you smelling delicious!”

If any one of you were considering buying this creation and wanted to know how much it cost you’d have been glad to know that the sunscreen is completely free.
In order to get your hands on some all you had to do was sign up for one on their website and what is even more shocking is that they are already all claimed. The offer, in less than 24 hours, is gone because of the demand.
This isn’t the first time KFC was this bonkers, last May, they invented a range of nail polish which tasted like chicken and came in two flavours: Hot and Spicy and Original.
I think we should all stick to eating chicken rather than wearing it on our skin.
