The Krispy Kreme Christmas jumper range looks too good to eat, but we’ll give it a go

We've taste-tested these as a community service

Drooling.

The countdown to Christmas is well and truly on. Trees are up, lights are lit, and the ugly Christmas jumpers have been dusted off for the virtual office party (ugh, so grim).

Yes, there’s a lot of changes this year when it comes to festivities but one thing that will never change, is that we’ll eat way too much food, nap an inordinate amount, and feel absolutely no guilt.

God bless baby Jesus.

With that in mind, we had to tell you about Krispy Kreme swinging into the festive season by releasing their Christmas jumper range of doughnuts.

The range celebrates the good, the bad and the inexplicably ugly festive jumpers that we all know and love.

From this week, you can get your hands on these delectable Krispy Kreme’s in store or via Click and Collect with some of the festive faves including the Ugly Jumper; with a caramel and chocolate filling and ugly jumper decoration, Santa Belly; with a Kreme filling and Santa belly decoration, the Peppermint Plaid; which is Krispy Kreme’s signature ring with a peppermint flavour icing and much more.

Even BETTER news is that you can also buy the whole range in bulk by opting for the Christmas Jumper dozen.

Speaking about the new range Declan Foley, Krispy Kreme’s Ireland’s Country Manager said,”So much of the magic of Christmas is rooted in the excitement and nostalgia the holidays bring. We’re delighted to bring a tasty twist on a classic tradition with our new Christmas Jumper doughnuts.”

With nothing but the wider community on our minds, we taste-tested a sample batch just to ensure that they were in fact delicious. We can confirm that although some are named after ugly jumpers, far from ugly is the taste of these bad boys.

Go on, treat yourself, we know YULE love it.
