New Years is fast approaching and whether you’re heading out to town, going to a house party or staying in with the other half, it’s safe to say that we’re celebrating ringing in 2019 with a drink or two.
And if vodka is your drink of choice then we have the perfect thing for you – Absolute Raspberri.
It’s on sale right now for €20 in Tesco, and we’re definitely nabbing a bottle for some New Years cocktails.
It’s been described as: “Absolut Raspberri’s rich and intense flavour comes from ripened raspberries harvested in the Swedish hillsides. Its fresh and fruity character mixes well with a wide range of fruit juices and mixers.”
To get in the party mood we’ve found two gorge cocktails that you could make in prep for December 31.
Raspberry Sunrise
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 shot of raspberry vodka
- 5 shots orange juice
- 1 dash grenadine
- 1 orange wedge
Mix: Fill a high glass with ice cubes. Add all ingredients. Garnish with orange.
Raspberry Martini
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 shot raspberry vodka
- 1/2 shot Chombard liqueur
- pineapple juice
Mix: Pour ingredients into cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Mix together. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
