Lindt chocolate is opening its first ever Irish store

Olivia Hayes

Lindt chocolate is one of our all-time favourites.

While we won’t put it in front of Cadbury’s (maybe, maybe not?), we adore getting little boxes of the treats at Christmas and Easter – or just about any time at all.

Well, Lindt-lovers rejoice because it has just been announced that its first Irish store will officially open this autumn.

On October 5, Kildare Village will say hello to the new chocolate store and to celebrate it will be hosting a celebratory ribbon cutting for its grand opening at 9am on Saturday 5 October.

The first 100 customers to make a purchase on the day will also receive a delicious gift of Lindor Milk Truffles (so you know, we will definitely be down).

However, it will only be there for a limited time as it’s a pop-up shop so if you want to get in on it, we’d take a trip up to Kildare Village soon.

As well as selling its usual chocolate boxes and assorted bars, it will also feature a designated Lindt Pick and Mix area which will include a selection of exclusive and limited-edition flavours as well as all of the classic Lindt favourites, allowing guests to create their own personalised box or bag of Lindt chocolates.

Delicious.
