A man has claimed he invented Cadburys Oreo Creme Egg two years ago

He even has a picture to prove it.

He even has a picture to prove it.

There has been major excitement ever since it was announced that Cadbury were making an Oreo version of their popular Creme Egg.

”As part of our Easter range this year we have launched new Cadbury Dairy Milk Egg ‘n’ Spoon Oreo, which will be available alongside our existing Oreo Easter products including the Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo Shell Egg and the Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo Easter Egg Sharing Bag.” A spokesperson said.

And while most of us are celebrating the exciting creation, one man is not happy, because he claims that he came up with the idea first.

The man was reportedly bored one day at lunch time when he put Oreo bits in his Creme Egg.

When Nick Allam realised he was on to a winner, he Tweeted the official Cadburys account with a picture of his creation.

Cadbury even acknowledged his tweet and told him they’d let their product team know.

Two years later  however, the product became a reality but Nick wasn’t impressed as he got no credit for it whatsoever.

“I was a little surprised to be honest and then a little disappointed because there was no recognition.

“I’m going to put it out there and say I did invent it, so yes, Cadbury have stolen my idea.” He told the Bristol Post.

Nick retweeted the picture again recently but got no response from the chocolate company.

Nick said he doesn’t think he is owed any money from Cadbury, but he would like some recognition from them for his creative idea.
