Marks & Spencer has recalled one of their soups due to an off-taint.
They have recalled a batch of chicken and vegetable soup (600g) with a use by date of 30/3/2017 and are telling customers to return the product to their nearest store.
The recall follows complaints from customers who tasted an ‘off-taint’.
According to the Food Safety Authority, the following statement has been released:
“As a precautionary measure, Marks & Spencer is recalling the above batch of its chicken and vegetable soup following customer complaints of an off-taint.
Marks & Spencer is issuing a point-of-sale recall notice requesting customers to return the implicated batch of soup to their nearest Marks & Spencer store.”
