Glorious news! McDonald’s launches its first ever vegetarian Happy Meal

Happy Meal

This is pretty exciting.

New year, new menu… as the saying goes.

The gorgeous folks at McDonald’s have introduced its first ever vegetarian Happy Meal, along with a new Spicy Veggie Wrap on the main menu.

Hallelujah!

So, what exactly do these delicious new meals entail?

Well, the shiny new Happy Meal is made with a Red Pesto Goujon with Tomato Ketchup and Shredded Lettuce wrapped in a soft, toasted tortilla.

Yeah, it may be for kids, but we’d be all over that tbh.

And then there’s the Spicy Veggie Wrap… prepare to drool!

It is made with two Red Pesto Goujons, a generous lashing of Spicy Relish with Tomato, Lettuce and Red Onion all wrapped in a soft, toasted tortilla.

These new menu items will join the current Vegetable Deluxe, which has a delicious new and improved recipe. The NEW Spicy Veggie Wrap replaces the existing Spicy Vegetable Deluxe.

Duncan Cruttenden, Menu Director (hello, dream job) at McDonald’s said:

“Our commitment is to offer great food, great choice and a great experience to our customers and we are constantly asking them how we can evolve and improve.”

“We are really thrilled to be able to give our customers this new choice with the addition of the Spicy Vegetarian Wrap and our first Vegetarian Happy Meal”.

So get your cute veggie-loving butts to your nearest McDonald’s, because the new menu is available from today.
