A trio of handcrafted distilled spirits just launched at the Gin Palace and… WOW

Hello there, gin and whiskey!

Brought to you by Ha’penny Spirits.

We’re not going to dare mention or, indeed, even allude to anything festive for at least another month.

However, there’s no denying that the evenings are currently getting delightfully shorter and that there is a tangible pang of autumn about.

Our wardrobes have already been tweaked to adapt to the changing weather (hello, boots and black tights!), and we’re actually quite looking forward to cosy evenings spent lost in conversation in great urban pubs.

And if you’re in Dublin, there are fewer nicer and more impressive spots than the Gin Palace – located on Middle Abbey bang smack in the centre of the city close to the iconic Ha’penny Bridge.

Appropriately, the location this week furthermore played host to the official launch of the Ha’penny Spirits range of handcrafted, small batch, distilled spirits.

The offerings are inspired by the bridge itself – a structure that each year attracts hordes of tourists – and includes Ha’penny Dublin Dry Gin, Ha’penny Rhubarb Gin, and Ha’penny Whiskey.

Ha’penny Spirits has now also launched an exclusive Ha’penny Gin Christmas Bauble set (a great gift for the ginthusiast in your life).

The limited-edition set features two Ha’penny Dublin Dry Gin Christmas Baubles, two Ha’penny Rhubarb baubles, and a signature Ha’penny Gin glass. Priced at €29.99, it will be available from November in Supervalu, Dunnes Stores, the Celtic Whiskey Shop and select independent off-licenses around the country.

Meanwhile, here is a selection of snaps from the official launch of the Ha’penny Spirits range…
