Nothing like a bit of fish-themed cream to start the day off well.
It’s Valentine’s Day tomorrow lads, in case you didn’t know.
If you’ve got a significant other, you might be going out for dinner. Or you might be going for drinks. Or you might be performing your love in public some other way, perhaps via your Instagram account or an unnecessary Facebook post or two.
Either way, if you’ve got any plans for V-day, chances are they don’t involve oyster ice cream – because why would they? Where would you even buy such a product?
Surely an equal parts bizarre and intriguing ice cream could never exist in real life, let alone Dublin city centre?
It can though – and it does.
The lads over at Scoop ice cream parlour and Deliveroo have teamed up to give whoever happens to celebrating V-day this year the opportunity to order themselves some, eh, delicious oyster and champagne flavoured ice cream.
Both of the dessert’s flavours have been said to carry aphrodisiac qualities too so, you know, you may as well try some if you’re feeling up for the ride this Thursday.
The ice cream will contain six oysters, which is a far cry from Casanova’s 50 he used to consume per day, but sure look, we’re sure it’ll do the job.
The ice cream will be available to buy through the Deliveroo app this Valentine’s Day for one day only.
