Starburst cosmopolitans are here and they look absolutely BEAUTIFUL

Sluuuuuurp...

Rebecca Keane

Feeling like Carrie, Miranda and gang is just a few steps away…

It’s hard to deny that a refreshing beverage is the perfect way to end a tough day, and last week we cracked the code on frozen rosé.

Having questioned practically all the people I know, red Starburst sweets are the most popular.

The strawberry flavour is such a kind addition in comparison to the unforgiving orange or the bitter lime. YUCK.

Whatever colour Starburst fan you are, making an alcoholic drink out of your favourite flavour is just minutes away.

According to Delishthe cosmopolitans taste like liquid candy and are easy as hell to make.

To make 2 servings of your new favourite drink, you’ll need:

  • 5 starburst sweets of two flavours (red preferred of course)
  • a cup and a half of vodka (how big depends on you)
  • 60 ml of lime juice
  • 60 ml of Cointreau (an orange flavoured liquer)

To whip up those bitching cocktails, it takes just two easy steps!

  1. Get two jam jars or jars with screw top lids and add your sweets. Pour three-quarters of the cup of vodka into each, whatever two different flavours you want. Seal the jars, shake and leave overnight to let the vodka soak up those pretty colours.
  2. Pour the coloured vodka into a cocktail shaker with ice, adding 30ml of lime and Cointreau into both. Put into two of your prettiest glasses et VOILÁ!

I’m suddenly craving a Starburst Cosmo… are you?
