Plans this weekend? Lidl is selling half price wine from tomorrow

Jade Hayden

Stunning.

We all had a bit of a rough time there for a bit during the storm.

Not only did we, collectively, as a nation, struggle to buy any food that wasn’t bread over the past week, but we also ran out of alcohol, forcing us to spend quality, sober time with our families and housemates.

It was a dark time but we got there in the end.

Now though, things are less bleak – mainly because we can actually safely leave our homes now, but also because Lidl is selling a load of wine for half price starting tomorrow and we need to hop on that deal immediately.

From Thursday March 8 to Friday March 9, as part of the special super savers offers, Lidl will be dropping the price of their Cimarosa South African Shirz Cabernet Sauvignon from €6.99 to €3.49.

A bargain if we ever saw one.

They’ll also be cutting the price of their Jean Truffot Macon Villages AOP Blanc 2014 in half. It was €9.99, but for Thursday and Friday, it’ll be €4.99.

And if this end-of-week deal wasn’t enough for us, over the weekend, Lidl’s Arestel Cava DO Brut will be on offer this Saturday and Sunday, reduced from €10.99 to €5.49.

The offfer is available while stocks last, so you’ve no excuse to say you ran out of wine now.
