This pub is offering a pretty insane 40-inch pizza EATING challenge

Wil Jones

Two people. Half an hour. Could you do it?

The bigger the pizza, the better, right?

Ok, how about this then? Mwah Pizza at The Carters Arms in Wilmslow, near Manchester in the UK has unveiled an incredible 40-inch beast, which is meant to be the largest wood-fired pizza in the whole country.

The 40-inch Napoli style Margherita comes with 2 toppings from the menu, and normally costs £70.

That’s not all though – it is offered as an insane eating challenge for two people, where it only costs £50. Each duo has 30 minutes to eat the whole thing. And if they succeed, they get £50 back. And you’ll be added to the wall of fame, obviously.

If you need another glimpse at how damn big this thing is, here is a video of it being carried through the pub from the outside wood oven.

One brave soul who attempted (and failed) the challenge told JOE that it was even tougher going than doing a marathon.

“It is a brutal challenge. After 15 minutes into it I was fuller than I’ve ever been! After completing the City to Summit 20 hour endurance event in Scotland, the last 15 minutes of the pizza challenge felt much worse than that.”
