A really sound gesture. Here’s hoping others follow suit.

Dublin nightclub Pygmalion (known to many as Pyg) has announced that it has partnered with the Peter McVerry Trust for 2020.

This means that as of Thursday 27 February, entry to all of their club nights will now be free, and instead you can donate to the homeless charity.

The popular venue announced the news on Thursday, saying: “We’re proud to be partnering with Peter McVerry Trust for 2020, they do vital work on our doorstep and throughout the country, entry to all Pyg club nights will be FREE and you can donate to one of the city’s most important charities upon entry starting tonight!”

The schedule for Pyg’s club nights were also released:

  • Feb 29 – Shanti Celeste & Moxie
  • Mar 16 – Paul Woolford & Paranoid London Live
  • Mar 17 – Cromby & Hammer
  • Mar 28 – Eclair Fifi & Sally C
  • April 4 – Soundstream
