The Queen found a slug in her food and reacted the way any normal person would

Lol.

The Queen of England is pretty old.

She just is.

And while being that old probably comes with its perks (ie, you’ve gotten to eat a lot of unreal meals during your time on this earth), it comes with a fair few negatives too (ie, you’ve probably accidentally eaten a lot of insects during your time on this earth).

Unknowingly, probably, but when you’ve existed for over 90 years, chances are a few ants or two have accidentally made their way into your meals, a few spiders have crawled into your tea, and a few slugs have ended up in your garden salad.

It just makes sense, like.

Anyway, we can probably go ahead and speculate about the other things but the slug incident did actually happen and naturally, Her Majesty wasn’t all that impressed by it.

Shame.

According to the Daily Mail, a few years back, the Queen was served a salad that also contained a slug.

She spotted the slug, did not consume him, and wrote a note to send the slug back to the kitchen saying: “I found this in the salad – could you eat it?”

Probably not no, in fairness to them.

It seems then that while the Queen is fairly picky about her slug consumption, she’s not too fussed about what else she eats for breakfast.

Or rather, it’s fairly standard.

When she wakes up, Her Majesty will have a few biscuits and a cup of tea, followed by some fruit and yoghurt.

Turns out that she eats boring food just like the rest of us.

Shocking.
