There’s a Freaky Tiki pop-up coming to Dublin and it sounds like a Halloween dream come true

Keeley Ryan

As much as we don’t want to admit it, summer is coming to an end.

But a magical new pop-up is headed to Dublin this month has got the ultimate way to ring in the start of autumn.

For the second year in a row, the immersive Kraken Freaky Tiki pop up is headed to the capital.

This time, the special event will be taking place at Lock 6 on Canal Road  on September 28 and September 29 – and it sounds better than ever.

There will be some “terrifyingly tempting” cocktails and seriously tasty dishes, as well as music by live DJs.

And not to mention some other “devilishly dark” surprises as the night goes on.

If you’re wondering if you’re brave enough to face down the Kraken, all you have to do is head to Lock 6 on Canal Road on either night.

There’s going to be three sessions on the Friday and Saturday, with the tickets available here – and they cost just €20.

Each ticket will not only give you access to The Kraken Freaky Tiki Bar, buy three cocktails – including Kraken Rum’s signature cocktail, The Perfect Storm – and some delicious food.

You’ll have to move quick if you want to get a ticket, though – we reckon these are going to go fast.
