A few months back, there was word that a third Mamma Mia! film may indeed be on the cards.
It was an exciting time for all involved – especially for ABBA’s own Bjorn who decided to go ahead and start the rumour himself.

Irrespective of whether the third movie actually goes ahead or not, we do have something concrete and Mamma Mia! related news to look forward to – a restaurant experience of that very same theme.

Mamma Mia! The Party is an all immersive experience that has proven pretty popular in Sweden for the past few years.
So popular, in fact, that they’ve decided to bring it to London’s The O2 as well.
Delicious and fun.
The event is pretty much a dinner combined with a show combined with some sort of vaguely Greek based club night.
So basically, all of the good things about the film thrown into one venue that you and all your mates can then experience yourselves.

“When you enter the wonderfully exotic Nikos Taverna we really want you to feel as if you’re right in the heart of an island paradise, sitting around tables in the taverna’s courtyard complete with a fountain, olive trees and bougainvillea,” reads the site description.
“We want you to feast on mouth-watering Mediterranean food & drink, while all your favourite ABBA songs are performed by singers and musicians all around you.”
