Dublin’s first glass box restaurant is opening up next year

Jade Hayden

Sounds fancy enough, tbh.

Who among us can say they don’t like eating their dinner?

There’s nothing better than sitting down, winding down, and chowing down after a hard day’s work and an even longer day’s night.

And, even more so, who among us can truly say that they wouldn’t enjoy eating their dinner in a glass box restaurant near the 3Arena on a cool, crisp autumn day?

It’s the ideal food-based scenario, clearly.

Dublin’s first glass box restaurant is set to open up next year in The Point Square, near enough to the 3Areana, the Gibson Hotel, and the Odeon cinema.

The restaurant will be a ground floor space with the opportunity for both mezzanine and second floor levels, depending on what kind of establishment opens up there.

So no, it’s not yet known exactly what restaurant is going to take up the glass box offer, but property advisors Savills and CBRE are currently on the lookout for one, so chances are it won’t be long before they’ve got a taker.

The glass box restaurant is currently under construction and is due for completion in 2020.

So if you fancy digging into some inevitably premium food while staring outdoors from all angles, it’s time to get excited.

Sounds decent enough, in fairness.
