For a drink of choice, most people would probably guess that men prefer to drink beer or a spirit instead of a glass of Prosecco. Well, you would be wrong. It turns out that men actually prefer to sip on a glass of Prosecco.
This revelation comes from a survey of over 2,000 men, conducted by Winemakers Ombra Di Pantera. According to The Gentleman’s Journal, 62 percent of men opt for Prosecco over gin, rum and beer at festive occasions.
They also prefer to drink Prosecco over Champagne.
And there’s a specific reason why too.
It’s down to the origin of the drink. Apparently, men like to be able to find out the background and history to their beverage. In most cases, a glass of beer doesn’t quite satisfy them on this front.
Adding the varied backgrounds to the drinks amplifies their drinking culture and makes it more enjoyable.
We don’t know about you, but we just drink Prosecco because it’s very tasty.
