A plate for a plate…

Europe’s first Zambrero (a delish mexican) is opening in Dublin on Wednesday, and to celebrate they will be giving away free meals all day, from 10am – 6:30pm.

The healthy Australian chain which specialises in fresh Mexican food opens at The Station, Hatch Street Upper on Wednesday 23rd of March, but this is no ordinary Mexican restaurant.

It’s “Mexican with a mission”.

For each meal bought in its restaurants, Zambrero donates a plate of nutritious food to the developing world through its Plate 4 Plate initiative.

To date, almost 8 million meals have been donated.

A live Plate4Plate counter will be on view in the restaurant so customers can see their contribution make an instant difference.

Four Zambrero branches are set to open in Ireland by the end of 2016, creating over 70 jobs and bringing over €2 million into the Irish economy.

We couldn’t think of a better reason to support a new business, so we’ll see you there on Wednesday!
