This Starbucks Video is Customer Service Done Right

This is incredible

Cassie Delaney

A video of an interaction between a Starbucks customer and staff is going viral. The video uploaded to Facebook shows a deaf customer use sign language to place her order.

A two-way camera at a drive through posting allows Rebecca to sign her order to a barista who signs back. The barista Katie Wyble tells Fox 30 Action News that she has had a passion for sign language since she first saw a teacher use it in preschool.

The encounter happened in St. Augstine in Florida, which is known to have a high population of deaf residents.

“I think more people need to know about what we’re doing because it moves customer service to a whole new level,” said Katie.

“I hope it helps make more people aware of what they can to do serve others in their communities.”

Meanwhile Rebeeca is delighted with the reach of the post.

Starbucks! This is what I’m talking about! ❤️Share it away! We can change the world! 🙂
