Time to mark the calendar, a huge gin festival is coming to Dublin

We'll see you there, so.

This calls for some ginvestigation.

Dublin gin festival Gin Fusion is coming back this year – and it promises to be “bigger and better than last year.”

The festival will take over The Bernard Shaw and Eatyard in the capital for four days and four nights over the May Bank Holiday weekend.

The festivities will kick off on May 3 and run until May 6.

There will be plenty of events to enjoy over the course of the long weekend, including tastings, workshops, classes, cocktail bars, DJs and live music.

It’s still a little while away, so there’s no much else known about what to gin fans can expect – but we’ve got to say, we’re ginuinely excited.

A statement on the Bernard Shaw’s website said:

“The festival will span 4 days and 4 nights across the May Bank Holiday Weekend with events, tastings, workshops, pop up markets, classes, cocktail bars, pairings, food, DJs, live music, CRAIC and lots more!

“We’re going bigger and better than last year – and last year was pretty darn awesome.”

The organisers are currently calling for any brand, poppies or bespoke gin distilleries who want to take part in the festival to get in contact.

But if you just can’t wait for a peek at Gin Fusion, check out the goings on from the 2017 edition of the festival below:
