Being a vegan is great, but it can also be a bit of a struggle – especially when it comes to milk chocolate.

Y’know, because there’s milk in it.

Sure, dark chocolate is already accidentally vegan because it doesn’t include any dairy products, but we all know that milk chocolate is the far superior confectionary product that everyone’ll be dying to get their hands on this festive season.

And now, it appears as though the plant-based folks among us may have had their prayers answered because Mars have created three vegan versions of Galaxy chocolate.

And they sound fairly tasty, in fairness.

The new 100g bars come in smooth orange, caramel and sea salt, and caramelised hazelnut.

The vegan chocolate is made from a hazelnut paste – and no milk whatsoever – so while the chocolate is trying to be a less intense version of its dark vegan friend, it’s likely not going to taste exactly like the real thing.

But hey, we haven’t tried it yet, who are we to judge?

The 100g bars are retailing at £3.00 each in the UK, which is twice the price of a regular Galaxy bar.

They’ll also be available in 111 Tesco stores across Ireland from November 19.

Get excited.
