Dublin restaurant delivering free sweets to local children for Halloween

Melissa Carton

Such as lovely idea.

In Level 3 we were recommended not to go trick or treating this year, but with Level 5 now in effect a lot of alternative Halloween events have been cancelled too.

To help bring some joy and excitement back into Halloween, one Dublin based eatery will be delivering sweet treats to local children this Halloween.

Vegan Sandwich Co posted yesterday that they will be providing free jellies to children living in the Dublin 7 area.

“We know how difficult it is for kids to not be able to trick or treat this year so we wanted to bring some of the treats to the community (No tricks though, they’re too scary!),” they said.

“This is our way of saying thanks for all the support we have received from everyone in Dublin 7. On 31st October, we will be booting up the Vegan Sandwich Co spook-mobile and doing some free doorstep deliveries to the children of Dublin 7.

“Just fill out you and your children’s details below and we will deliver a lil pot of vegan jellies to your door for each child in the household between 5pm and 8pm on the 31st October.”

If you live in Dublin 7 all you have to do is visit the Vegan Sandwich Co website and enter your details in the Halloween section.

So, can adults get them too?
