Turns out we’ve been storing peanut butter wrong this entire time

It happens every now and again.

We’re going about our daily lives and then all of a sudden an expert pipes up about what we’ve been doing wrong with our lives.

It could be anything from cleaning runners to making toast… and now it seems we’re storing our peanut butter wrong.

While we might raise our eyebrows to the other things we’re doing wrong, we have to say that this little tip is a simple one, but a smart one.

We all know when we store anything in a jar, it ends up being all stuck at the bottom and we try tirelessly to scoop it up with a spoon.

Most of the time there will always be a little left in it along with – and if you’re a peanut butter fan, you’ll know this – a gloopy bit of oil that builds up at the bottom.

So, to combat the wasting peanut butter/oil scenario, PureWow told Cosmo to just store it upside down.

See? Simple. Also, if you want to oil to stop building up at the bottom, all you have to do is store it upside down in the fridge.

Easy, handy, done.
