Wine infused coffee is here and Wednesday is SO much better

Trine Jensen-Burke

Wine and coffee together, say WHAT?!

Thanks to a new, wine-infused coffee from a Napa Valley-based company, you can now actually have the best of both worlds in one cup.

That’s right – the  Molinari Private Reserve makes wine-infused coffee make their insanely life-changing-sounding beverage by letting coffee beans sit in a bath of red wine, absorbing the flavours, before drying and roasting the beans as per normal.

Now, the beans don’t come cheap at $20 for a half-pound bag – but we sort of think it is all sorts of worth it, no?

Oh, and you can drink it any way you want, as in black, in a latte or as espresso – but according to the company themselves, adding milk to the coffee brings out the wine flavour even more, while having it black “emphasises the blueberry essence.”

To be fair, both sound equally AH-MAZING to us.
