The world’s greatest chocolate bar has been voted on and we don’t know how to feel

You can’t beat a classic.

Or can you?

There are a lot of chocolate bars out there in the world at the moment.

You got your dark chocolate, your milk chocolate, your white, your almond, and your soya chocolate.

There’s something to suit everybody really, but as it turns out, there’s one bar that a lot of people agreed was the greatest in the world.

The humble KitKat.

We know, we didn’t know how to feel either.

On one hand, the KitKat has got everything to make the perfect chocolate bar – silky smooth chocolate, bitta crunch, a novelty shape.

Ideal.

On the other hand, it’s been around for ages and at this stage is kind of done.

Sure, we’ve got the likes of the KitKat Chunky, the cookies and cream KitKat, and all the peanut butter variations of the bar the lads have been knocking out for years, but at the end of the day, it’s just a few chocolate fingers stuck together.

Or is it actually the greatest chocolate-based invention known to man?

Who can say for sure?

This data was compiled by the guys over at Ranker who asked over 100,000 people to rate their favourite chocolate bars.

KitKat came out top, following by Twix at number two, and Snickers are number three.

Also present in the top 10 were Milky Way, Toblerone, Nestle Crunch, and the Hershey bar.

Honestly, whatever way you look at this, there’s going to be someone somewhere who’s unhappy with the ranking.

As with most things in this world, we can agree to disagree on much of what’s included in the list, but there is one aspect that pretty much everybody is having the same feelings about.

How in God’s name is the Milky Way ranked number four?
